I'm interested in seeing the movie - you're telling me you've never seen an episode of Star Blazers ?, it was on TV all the time over here so fan or not most people my age would at least know what the show was.
No never seen it, my bastardised Japanese anime as a kid was Battle of the Planets (Science Ninja Team Gatchaman).
