Aisha Tyler's Girl On Guy Podcast

Ok, I'll admit I find Aisha one hell of an attractive woman from early on with Friends and then Ghost Whisperer (which I stopped watching when she left) and recently as the personification of Lana Kane from Archer.
I really enjoyed her first episode of her podcast, gratifying to find the person behind the onscreen persona is just as interesting as you had expected or maybe hoped:)

The Amazing Spiderman Trailer

Not sure about a reboot so soon after the last trilogy but with this sort of material and the history of the comics I guess it makes some sense.

Horizon - (Not Safe For Work and adult material)

Horizon is one of the latest scifi themed triple xxx features and shot using one of the RED HD cameras to produce a piece of work to the technical standards required for theatrical release and significantly lower budgets.

"A high-tech step into the year 2085, Horizon unfolds as a civilization of extraterrestrial origin has invaded Earth. Of the planet's nine billion inhabitants, approximately one third have been killed and nearly two billion more have been evacuated to a military base dug into the core of Mercury. Of the four billion humans who remain on Earth, none are expected to survive the next 48 hours."

Looks like it'll have a similar feel but if that's the case then just watch the Kurt Russel movie or even better "The Thing From Another World" original movie.

CBS Releases official Star Trek PADD for iPad

Well I don't have an iPad but you've got to admit this sort of app will sell the technology to
those few who are on the fence. Of course in a year or so the pricing and overall selection
in the tablet market will appeal to a wider market and then the gloves are off.

The Sword and the Dragon (The Wardstone Trilogy)

I've just finished reading the first book of The Wardstone Trilogy by M.R. Mathias and here is a mini review.

The Sword and the Dragon is my first visit to the imagination of M.R. Mathias and it's a most rewarding visit at that. While it lacks the uber complexity and sheer length of some of novels from more establish fantasy authors that isn't a bad thing it makes the novel easier to get into and ultimately enjoy all the more.
The story is full of well developed characters who are easy to get to know and cheer on or not as the case may be and creates a viable world in which they live their lives. Epic quests and battles with the innocent and guilty suffering in equal measure and a world rocked to it's foundations, bring on Book2 "Kings, Queens, Heroes, & Fools".

As you can see I quite enjoyed the story and certainly going to buy the second novel for my Kindle.
